YOUR BOOKING
After having confirmed your reservation by email, a rental agreement is established for the requested period between the tenant and the owner of the apartment. The rental agreement is sent to you via email. The rental agreement is immediately validated once the down payment (50% of the rental fee). A payment by bank transfer will mean that your reservation is only temporary until payment is received. Please send us, via email or postal mail, your signed rental agreement, along with a scan or photocopy of your passport. Our address is : A part of Paris, 203bis, rue St Martin, 75003 Paris, France.
The person designated as responsible for the rental will accept the terms & conditions by making the down payment. The person designated as responsible for the rental will also accept the terms & conditions on behalf of all other guests using the apartment. The rental agreement is for a determined duration only and is an agreement between the owner and the tenant.
YOUR PAYMENTS
WEEKLY RENTALS
› A down payment of 50% of the total rent is required upon reservation by credit card or by bank transfer in order to secure your booking
› The balance of 50% of the total rent is required upon arrival by cash or by credit card (credit card fee of 2%) or by bank transfer before the arrival
› The security deposit must be settled by credit card upon arrival to the apartment
MONTHLY RENTAL
› The first month's rent and the agency fee are required upon reservation by credit card or by bank transfer in order to secure your booking
› The following monthly rental payments should be paid at the beginning of each month by cash, credit card (credit card fee of 2%) or by bank transfer
› The security deposit must be settled by credit card or cash upon arrival to the apartment
We accept payments by :
› Credit card (Visa & MasterCard) on our secured online payment
› Bank transfer to our bank account
› Cash
The prepayment will confirm your reservation. If payments are not made on the agreed dates, your reservation will be considered as cancelled and the apartment will be offered for rental again. Payment for the reservation is considered the equivalent of accepting the general terms and conditions.
AGENCY FEE
Our weekly rates include the agency fee.
Our monthly rates are presented without agency fees.
› From 1 month up to 3 months : 50% of one month rent
› From 3 months up to 6 months : One month rent
› One year rentals : 10% of total annual rent + VAT (19,6%)
The agency fee will be requested upon reservation together with the prepayment. No weekly or monthly agency fee will be refunded in case of cancellation or modification of your booking. VAT (19,6%) will be added to all agency fees (from 1 month) for all corporate bookings.
YOUR ARRIVAL TO THE APARTMENT
Please send us all details concerning your arrival to Paris :
› Arrival time to the airport and your flight number or arrival time to the train station
› A mobile number where we could reach before your arrival
You must call the mobile number of A part of Paris (given to you by email at reservation) upon arrival to the airport, to the train station or approximatley one hour before arriving to Paris if you are travelling by car. We will then set your check-in time. This is VERY important in order to avoid waiting in front of the building. Any event beyond our control could delay the person who will meet & greet you.
At check-in we will take the remaining balance and give you all necessary explanations of the apartment . If you need any further information during your stay, we can be contacted by telephone or by email.
Check-in time begins at 14.00 and check-out time is at 10.00. Early check-in and late check-out may be requested.
The following check-in supplements will apply and should be paid directly to the person in charge of the check-in :
› 30 € for any arrival between 18.00 - 21.00
› If you arrive after 21.00, you will need to pick up the key in our mailbox at the office and the check-in will be done the day after.
› 50 € for any arrival on Sundays and French bank holidays.
OUR SERVICES
A part of Paris could arrange the following house keeping and transfer services together with your apartment:
Housekeeping A Part of Paris
Housekeeping is not included in the rent of the apartments. However, we can offer you cleaning several times during your stay at 25 €/hour (minimum 2 hours) or departure cleaning at the end.
Studio : 50 €
1 bedroom: 50 €
2 bedroom: 75 €
3 bedroom : 75 €
In the case that your apartment is left in very dirty condition after your stay, supplements will apply to the above rates. The cleaning service can be reserved and paid in advance or during your stay.

YOUR DEPARTURE FROM THE APARTMENT
Instructions concerning the departure will be given upon arrival to the apartment. The departure inventory will take place on the last day of the rental period or one day before. If we are unable to meet you before your departure, the keys should be left in the apartment, all lights turned off, all windows closed and the entrance door pulled to.
The apartment should be left clean and tidy, in the same condition it was found in, including contents and appliances of the property. Should the apartment not meet the cleaning standards at time of departure, any necessary cleaning cost will be deducted from the deposit. We can,of course, help you organize the cleaning of the apartment. and we will charge the following rates for a departure cleaning :
WEEKLY RENTALS
› Studio & 1 bedroom : 50 €
› 2 bedroom & 3 bedroom : 75 €
MONTHLY RENTAL
› Studio & 1 bedroom : 100 €
› 2 bedroom & 3 bedroom : 150 €
Should the apartment not meet the cleaning standards at time of departure, additional cleaning hours could be added at 25 € / hour.
INSURANCE
During your stay in the apartment you will need to be covered by an insurance for any damage caused by water, fire or explosion. We recommend the company Cabinet Albinet, who offers a specific short term rental including personal liability, damage, cancellation and curtailment.

For any monthly rental, an insurance certificate from a French insurance company is mandatory upon arrival to the apartment.
IN CASE OF CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION
WEEKLY RENTALS
› For any cancellation made more than 60 days before the arrival date, the prepayment will be refunded
› For any cancellation made less than 60 days before the arrival date, the total prepayment will be kept
Change of arrival date and length of stay can be considered as a cancellation. In case of early departure, for whatever reason and at whatever time, there is no refund of the rent paid. The agency fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation or modification of your booking.
MONTHLY RENTALS
› For any cancellation made more than 60 days before the arrival date, the first month rent will be refunded.
› For any cancellation made less than 60 days before the arrival date, the first month rent will not be refunded.
The agency fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation or modification of your booking at any time.
THE SECURITY DEPOSIT
WEEKLY RENTALS
For weekly rentals, the security deposit is equal to 75 - 100% of the tota rental amount.
The deposit will be requested in advance (by bank transfer,) or upon arrival to the apartment (by credit card or by cash). If the departure inventory does not bring to light any damage to the apartment, the furniture or the equipment (including broken and lost items) and the apartment has been cleaned and left in the same condition as upon arrival, the deposit will be returned to you within a maximum of 72 hours after the departure of the tenant.
In case of any damage in the apartment, the deposit will be returned, with deduction of the cost of any repairs due to the property and its contents, at the latest two months after the tenant's departure.
MONTHLY RENTALS
For any rental between 1 month and 5 month, the security desposit is equal to one month rent.
For any rental between 5 month and 1 year, the security desposit is equal to two months rent.
The deposit will be requested in advance (by bank transfer,) or upon arrival to the apartment (by credit card or by cash). If the departure inventory does not bring to light any damage to the apartment, the furniture or the equipment (including broken and lost items) and the apartment has been cleaned and left in the same condition as upon arrival, the deposit will be returned to you within two months of the departure of the tenant.
In case of any damage in the apartment, the deposit will be returned, with deduction of the cost of any repairs due to the property and its contents, at the latest two months after the tenant's departure.
