It is situated halfway between the business center Montparnasse and the trendy and fashionable Saint-Germain des Prés. Also close to the Luxembourg Garden, Senate house and Invalides. A few blocs away you will find the department store Le Bon Marche founded by Aristide Boucicault and his wife in 1852 - the most fasionalbe \"grand magasin\" in Paris. Many cafés, restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as food & wine stores, libraries and drugstores.
